Hannah Addison, M.A., LPC

Who do you treat? While I have experience working with a wide variety of populations and concerns, I have the most passion for and experience in working with neurodivergent adults (especially late-diagnosed ADHD), supporting individuals during the pregnancy and postpartum stage, neurodivergent parenting, and women's issues.

What’s the vibe? I take a warm, affirming approach that also leaves room for humor. I believe we all have different parts of ourselves that come out when they feel most needed, whether we wanted them to or not, and that we heal best by showing ourselves compassion and love, even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard!

What's the therapy jargon? I use a Person-Centered foundation that encourages you to take the lead in your own healing journey. Woven into that is Internal Family Systems (IFS), which is the “parts” stuff I mentioned above, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Love a good metaphor. I also have advanced training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders from Postpartum Support International.
